long nails. The intestines are filled with meconium, a dark green
substance that contains cells from the bowel wall, secretions from the
alimentary glands as well as lanugo. Your baby's first bowel movement will
be this meconium.
The hormones from the placenta are causing your breasts are
swell. Your breasts are filling with milk, and surprisingly, your baby's
may too, whether it is a girl or a boy. If you deliver a girl, she may
bleed a tiny amount from her vagina as a result of these hormones leaving her
body after birth.
