Would you believe your baby is probably dreaming in week 34? Your
little one sleeps a lot and has rapid eye movement - the stage in which you
dream. The umbilical cord is large and quite strong. The blood
vessels are surrounded by a gelatinous substance that keeps the cord from
twisting and reducing your baby's blood supply.
You may still be experiencing Braxton Hicks contractions that last about
thirty seconds apart. As you approach delivery, it is imperative that you have
enough iron in your blood. Keep taking your prenatal vitamins and eating
foods that are high in iron content.
Your baby is about twelve inches long from head to bottom and weights about
five pounds!
