Your
baby's fingernails have grown past the fingertips, and your baby can actually
scratch itself now. There is plenty of hair on the head - if there is a
lot you could probably see it on an ultrasound. Your baby can blink and
practices focusing. Your little one may still be in a breech position, as
some babies do not turn until about 36 weeks. There is excess vernix
caseosa and nutrients in the amniotic sac that will help your baby's lungs
mature. Your baby will have gained at least two pounds by the end of next
week since last month alone. A lot of this weight is from fat and muscle
tissue.
Your baby's face is no longer wrinkled, but smooth and pink.
About eight percent of your baby's weight is fat. Your baby is curled much
more do to the lack of space around it.
