Your baby is now passing about one pint of urine into the amniotic fluid daily.  His or her eyelashes and eyebrows are now fully developed.  He or she is starting to focus with the eyes.  When your baby is born, he or she will only be able to see about 8 to 9 inches away.  Some think this is because of the baby's limited field of vision within the womb.  Your baby should be kicking you about ten times an hour.  If you feel a significant drop in kicks, call your health care provider immediately.

You have already been screened for your Rh factor by blood test.  If you are Rh negative, you were probably  given immunoglobulin (RhoGAM) last week, and will receive another within 72 hours of delivery.  This will keep you from becoming Rh sensitized.  You will be given a CBC around this time to check for anemia.  If you are anemic, your OB/GYN will improve your blood count before delivery.

Right now, your baby is about 2 pounds and 2 ounces and is about 10 inches long!  This picture was taken by a three dimensional ultrasound.
