Your baby's sucking muscles are forming, which will help to strengthen the mouth and cheek muscles.  Your baby's form is straightening as the skeletal system is growing quickly.  The fetus head is about 1/3 of the length of the baby  The eyes are fully formed, with eyelids closed for protection as the eyes grow.

Although you won't feel it yet, your baby is moving quite often.  The baby is able to wrinkle the forehead and purse his or her lips.  The umbilical cord is fully formed and contains three blood vessels - one large vein and two smaller blood arteries.  The arteries carry wastes away from the baby while the large vein carries nutrition and oxygen rich blood to the fetus.

You are putting on more weight at this stage as your baby grows.  You may feel less emotional and more comfortable knowing there is not a great risk of miscarriage at this stage.
